Asbury is a congregation of committed believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that all should have access to learn about who He is, build a relationship with Him, and discover the purpose He has for us in His story. That is why the Asbury’s mission statement is:
“Caring Within and Reaching Out That All May Know Christ.”
We are a congregation affiliated with the Global Methodist Church, a conference rooted in the pursuit of warm, whole-hearted, and scriptural expression of the message of Jesus Christ. Though we are a denominational church, we welcome those from all groups and walks of life to come through our doors. We hope you find a family here.
caring within
From the coffee bar on Sunday to community groups throughout the week, we are passionate about caring for our own and creating fellowship with one another. Within our walls, we host Bible Studies, LifeWise Groups, Youth groups and more. We have dedicated volunteers who make sure things run smoothly on Sundays, including our nursery, facilities, and youth.
We aim to create a space where all feel welcome, loved, and seen as Jesus would have done. Join us on Sunday to catch a glimpse of Asbury’s DNA.
reaching out
At Asbury, we believe church is not just held inside the sanctuary, but that it is mobile and fluid. We love to join our community outside our walls, serving others and sharing the love of Christ with those who may have never experienced it. In being the hands and feet of Jesus, we fulfill our call to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19-20). This includes community outreach and mission work throughout Dane County— with ministries such as Extended Hands Pantry, Forward Garden, Habitat for Humanity, and more. We are also involved with multiple organizations & missionaries worldwide. Additionally, we have just launched a new coffee-cart ministry, “Cornerstone Curb Coffee!”
